With more then six years under their belt, Joe Lazar, chef and co-owner with his wife Brenda, have proven that Philadelphia can always use another good neighborhood restaurant. Named after their daughter, Tori, Joe and Brenda have been a team in the restaurant business for more than 20 years. Joe, a self taught chef offers a unique mix of food - Italian and Southwestern, giving his customers the style of food he loves. "I was raised on Italian food, it's comfort food for me. I fell in love with the southwestern cuisine after studying the likes of Bobby Flay, Emerill, Rick Bayless and Dean Fearing. I think our menu offers our customers foods they know and love with the Italian dishes and a chance to try something new and different with the Southwestern," says Joe Lazar.

Tori's Brickhouse is located in the Queen Village section of Philadelphia. Tori's resides in a brick building that dates back to the 1700's, housing an underground railroad in the basement (If these walls could talk). Joe and Brenda transformed this historic site into a cozy dining experience while still offering the feel of a corner bar. With an ensemble of couches and coffee tables, the second floor lounge can best be described as a retro living room. This provides our guests with a relaxed atmosphere that is perfect for intimate banquets and events.
